| Description |
The course will provide learners with:
*a clear understanding of concepts, theories and methods within sociology;
*the opportunity to study selected areas of sociology;
*the chance to apply sociology to different societies, including Maltese society.
By the end of the course, the learners will be able to:
*demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of sociological concepts, theories and methods of sociological inquiry;
*discuss sociological theories and methods;
*use such knowledge and understanding to analyse and evaluate social behavior and social issues.
The Direcorate for Lifelong Learning shall be receiving applications between Friday 20th August and Friday 3rd September 2010 from 8.30am till noon. APPLICATIONS SENT BEFORE FRIDAY 20TH AUGUST SHALL NOT BE PROCESSED BEFORE THE OPENING DATE.
