Through this course the learner will be able to understand the relationship and influences of the visual arts on the individual and culture. By the end of this course, the learner will:
*acquire a basic knowledge and understanding of the visual arts;
*understand and learn to appreciate the basic principles of works of art;
*be able to discuss artwork from various time periods, movements, styles, and artists throughout history.
During this course, the learners will have the opportunity to visit a number of Museums of Art around the islands.
The Direcorate for Lifelong Learning shall be receiving applications between Friday 20th August and Friday 3rd September 2010 from 8.30am till noon. APPLICATIONS SENT BEFORE FRIDAY 20TH AUGUST SHALL NOT BE PROCESSED BEFORE THE OPENING DATE.
