This course provides a solid base of the Sec Syllabus 2011 and will enable learners to:
develop an awareness of various forms of life (particularly locally occurring) and promate a respect for them as well as to develop a knowledge and understanding of basic anatomical and physiological characteristics of organisms; become aware of the personal, social, political, economic, technological and environmental implications of biology; develop a scientific approach to problem solving which includes the assessment and interpretation of experimental data; obtain a worthwhile educational experience,whether or not they intend to study biology beyond this level or pursue a career requiring knowledge of biology.
The Directorate for Lifelong Learning shall be receiving applications between Friday 20th August and Friday 3rd September 2010 from 8.30am till noon. APPLICATIONS SENT BEFORE FRIDAY 20th AUGUST SHALL NOT BE PROCESSED BEFORE THE OPENING DATE.
