| Description |
The course provides a solid base of the SEC Syllabus 2011 (Social Studies) and aims to enable learners to:
(a) introduce, understand and apply basic Social Studies concepts;
(b) develop an appreciation of social issues relating appropriately to the conditions of modern society;
(c) cultivate a critical awareness of recent developments in the local, European and international context; and
(d) apply the subject areas to their life experience.
The Direcorate for Lifelong Learning shall be receiving applications between Friday 20th August and Friday 3rd September 2010 from 8.30am till noon. APPLICATIONS SENT BEFORE FRIDAY 20TH AUGUST SHALL NOT BE PROCESSED BEFORE THE OPENING DATE.
