| Description |
This course is mainly intended for those students who have followed the beginners' course. It is aimed at students who have a sound knowledge of the Arabic language, ideally those who can read, write and speak fluently and also those who already hold a certificate in the ordinary level. The basic grammatical, syntactical and lexical elements covered in unit ARB001A are consolidated and new aspects are introduced. Although grammar points are discussed and drilled, the course at this level shall focus on practical communicative tasks in meaningful contexts. Towards the end of the course students should be able to apply what they learned in average language-use situations.
